An open letter to George W. Bush
Edited on Wed Feb-06-08 05:20 PM by Cyrano
Dear Mr. Bush:

No, I will not use the term “Mr. President” as you have never merited that title – not in 2000 and not in 2004.

Allow me to inform you of what I wish for you.

I want you to live long enough to see your name reviled as are the names Caligula, Torquemada and all other historic villains.

I want you to somehow develop enough self-awareness that you live in constant mental anguish over the unimaginable suffering and countless deaths you have caused.

I want you to experience the hunger, homelessness, and lack of medical care to which you have doomed so many.

I want your intestines to hurt every time someone takes offense at your existence.

I want to see you serve unending tours of duty in Baghdad.

I want to see you and your miserable mother suffering in the Superdome like Katrina survivors and hear her say: “This is working out very well for (us).”

I want to see you mocked for “… your cold-blooded murder of the English tongue” (with a tip of the hat to George Bernard Shaw).

And mostly, I want to see you brought to trial in The Hague, convicted, and sentenced to life in prison to contemplate the ancient evils you unleashed on the world.

With no respect at all,

An Outraged American Citizen

(If you have anything to add, please do so. We could always mail it to him, but you just know that Laura won’t read it to him.)

5. You haven't been listening to the facts and rumors much.
This is a guy who thinks being branded with a red-hot coat hanger is no big deal and, as to the rumors, what kind of hell is an orgasm lasting for all eternity?

great letter.

Unfortunately, I think the worst that will happen to him is that he'll have to flee the his estate in Paraguay and live out his life in exile with his Nazi buddies.

4. I've got to agree. Why else would anyone have bought
Edited on Wed Feb-06-08 05:23 PM by Cyrano
one hundred thousand acres in Paraguay of all places?

Then again, perhaps the Bush family found there was oil under that property they bought.

8. Could you please expand on that, madokie.

I've always suspected that someday, water would become more precious than oil, but I had no idea that that was the reason behind the BFEE Paraguay purchase.

9. sorry to be so long in replying
I fell asleep but here is the wiki article on this aquifer http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Guarani_Aquifer

The Guaraní Aquifer, located beneath the surface of the original four Mercosur countries (Argentina, Brazil, Paraguay and Uruguay), is one of the world's largest aquifer systems and an important source of fresh water for its people<1>. Named after the Guaraní tribe, it covers 1,200,000 km², with a volume of about 40,000 km³, a thickness of between 50 m and 800 m and a maximum depth of about 1,800 m. It is estimated to contain about 37,000 km³ of water (arguably the largest single body of groundwater in the world), with a total recharge rate of about 166 km³/year from precipitation. It is said that that this vast underground reservoir could suppy fresh drinking water to the world for 200 years. Due to an expected shortage of fresh water on a global scale, which environmentalists suggest will become critical in under 20 years, this important natural resource is rapidly becoming politicized, and the control of the resource becomes ever more controversial.

I'm weary of the DU Hillary/Obama wars.

16. I doubt if any paper would publish it.
It's too unkind to the fuhrer that far too many publishers either worship or fear.
