Ford sales continue slide as boycott hurts




Your actions are making a difference! Ford Motor Company sales dropped 4% in January compared to monthly sales a year ago. AFA's boycott of Ford is partly responsible for the decline.

AFA began a boycott of Ford in March 2006 after Ford reneged on a commitment to stop funding homosexual groups. Ford's sales have declined in 20 of the 23 months since the boycott began. The company's sales increased in two months and were flat in one month. (See chart below.)

We asked the company to adopt a policy of neutrality in the culture war, but Ford has refused. Evidently Ford cares more about supporting a small minority defined by their sexual behavior than they do about the people who keep them in business - their customers.

Nearly 780,000 individuals have signed AFA's pledge to boycott Ford.

4. Henry Ford had his faults. He should also be remembered for his contributions to equal rights.

As much as anyone, I've pointed out the guy's associations with Adolf Hitler and Francisco Franco. That said, he also needs to be remembered for being the first industrialist to hire African Americans and pay them the same wages as white workers. He also promoted and advanced African Americans into management positions.

There are Ford dealers between my house and my shop. Every one of them puts the worst gas-guzzlers out on the curb so you see them first.

Now...

The gas station nearest to Crown Ford on Bragg Boulevard gets $3.03 per gallon.

The gas station across the street from LaFayette Ford on Raeford Road charges $2.98 per gallon...and the three gas stations that are at the corner of US 401 and the access road that leads to Lumberton Ford charge $2.89.

12mpg penis extensions aren't all that appealing when gas is three bucks a gallon.
