What do you think McCain will have to offer to the Baptisto-Mormonic conspiracy?

(the combined Huckabee-Romney forces who appeared to be allied in a bitter end struggle to stop Hanoi John)to get them out of his way?

They aren't giving up and they can cause McCain a lot of trouble between now and St. Paul.

Will he try to buy them off? Will the GOP "men of honor" somehow dispose of them in the political equivalent of a Jersey waste disposal site?

2. Baptists and Mormons are still bitter enemies.

They have been for 150 years. Mormons are more likely to vote for McCain or even Obama before they'll vote for Huckabee. Putting Huckabee on the ticket is a sure way to make Utah go Democratic. They won't forget how he slimed their religion.

BTW the thread title was meant partly as a joke(an allusion to the mythical "Judeo-Masonic conspiracy" that antisemites and right-wing European Catholics used to justify persecuting Jews and attacking anyone who supported secular society rather than control of life by the ultra-religious.)
