A *wonderful* quote from Mike Huckabee.
''Earlier in the day, at a conservative conference in Washington, DC, Huckabee, a Baptist preacher, challenged the view that he was too far behind McCain in the delegate count.''

''"I didn't major in math. I majored in miracles, and I still believe in them," Huckabee said.''

I know there's no hope that this guy will beat McCain, but I really wish he would...

5. McCain will probably win. Huckabee would probably lose.
Huckabee would be a worse president, sure, but not by as much as you might think, and the difference in their chances of victory is large.

4. My fear is that he will become VP
with a sick old man in the White House, and also in perfect position to run in 2012. If he gets in, I'm leaving.

8. Well, if he demonstrates he can feed all of America's hungry people
with five loaves and two fishes, he might have a shot.

12. Some hope.
McCain is too far ahead for there to be any chance.

Which means that the next president is likely to be a Republican, whereas the Democrats could have beated Huckabee.

13. I never underestimate the fundagelicals anymore.
And the die-hard conservatives are not happy with McCain.

Huck is just a frightening political figure -- and a fundagelical's wet dream.
