McCain Embraces Rove
Karl Rove last week announced that he had given $2300 to the presumptive GOP presidential nominee John McCain.

Asked over the weekend about the donation, McCain said he has "always respected Karl Rove as one of the smart great political minds I think in American politics," and specifically refused to condemn Rove's hyper-partisan campaign tactics (including his smears against McCain in the 2000 South Carolina race).

3. But...but...he's a Maverick!
According to the media, anyway. After he hugged and kissed Bush, I'm not surprised that he "embraces" Rove. Next he'll do that literally.

8. I have no respect for McCain who praises the man
who did such a filthy smear job on him. McCain is the ultimate opportunist who will embrace and use anyone to get win a seat in the powerhouse.

9. $2300 was all it took to forgive Rove for the smear campaign that labeled his daughter
as "illegitimate."

So much for integrity.

11. Keep taking notes people, McLame is digging his own grave
Think of all the wonderful things we can throw at him in the GE, IF he gets the nomination.

I saw him bloviating on CNN about KKKarl. McCain has truly sold his soul to the devil.

I used to be on the McCain bandwagon. I've always been moderate to liberal but I have very conservative parents so I guess I was just trying to support a Rethug that my father didn't like. I was also in my early 20's and naive. I actually felt bad for him in 2000 when when Bushites attacked him and his family. He even gave Bill Clinton cover in the 90's so Clinton could normalize relations with Vietnam. But now? Ick. He really is just icky. I read that his own daughter Bridget looked this stuff the Bush's spread about her up on the internet and was very upset about it. If only he had never decided to kiss Bush's ass for support (who would want that support anyways?) than I could at least have respected him. And then this whole Iraq thing. 100 years? Draining our resources? Its the biggest spending bill we have. Trillions of dollars have gone over there. And he talks about getting spending under control. Independents won't break for McCain anymore. I used to be one of them but the swiftboating made me sick in 2004 and I finally registed as a Democrat.

16. Is that supposed to be a strategy?
McCain is doing everything counter to what the last election was about. Come to think of it, Congress isn't exactly answering the "call of the people" either.
