It's a sad day when Chris Dodd has to yell, scream, shout and educate....
... to get his fellow senators to see that FOLLOWING THE LAW is a good thing (re: retroactive immunity for telecoms who helped BushCo break the law).

As heartened as I am by Dodd, it's a sorry statement on the United States of America. How far have we fallen?

2. I'm watching him
He's wonderful. And yes it is sad. I get the feeling he's frustrated and appalled.

5. Sad and reprehensible
Too many of those who have the ability to combat the erosion of civil rights are shirking their responsibility. :banghead:

6. Dodd went from being a Sentor I admired
to a Senator I love 2nite. He should replace wet noodle Reid as Majority leader. He is the kind of fighter we need in the Senate.

7. "He should replace wet noodle Reid as Majority leader."
By all means.....Having Harry Reid as leader is like running the 100-yard dash in a wet tracksuit.
