From two of my niece's second grade students:

The one Mormon in her class: I'd do whatever Ron Paul would do!

From another: I'd be like Mike Huckabee because he's Christian and he want's everybody to be Christian.

My niece: But didn't we just talk about that and agree that everybody's beliefs are to be respected?

Little girl: Yeah, but I want everybody to go to heaven!

I agree, though, they'd escape the religious brainwashing.

My son was raised Catholic by his mother. I didn't object, because I think exposure is good as long as independent thought is encouraged (which I did).

I wouldn't say that my son (now 17) is atheist, but he's definitely capable of reaching a thoughtful decision on his own.

I was raised Catholic - 12 years of Catholic school, but I stopped buying into it in about the 4th grade, thank God! :7
