maybe all postings. When I click on the little box with the X inside, it says I have hidden the thread. I never hid a thread. How do I get rid of this, it is on all of my groups. This just appeared this AM. Or perhaps yesterday PM. I could not for the life of me get DU pages to load. I know there was work being done on the network, was this a result?

1. go up to "options" and there is "hidden threads" on the left pane

click that and unhide them

2. Hi, I did just that. Message said I have 2 hidden threads. Took

care of that, went back to my groups clicked on Cooking and Baking and there are all the little boxes with X's. Went to every group. Clicked on the first posting with an X and it tells me I have hidden threads. Again, did not hide any. Do you think this is a glitch, there are so many of them?

By clicking on one of them, you are, in fact, hiding the thread. If you don't want to hide a thread, refrain from clicking on the box.

All threads have those little hide buttons, have for a long time.

As for pages not loading very quickly, yes, that is due to the work being done. It has nothing to do with the hide buttons.

5. I see, and thanks, It is the reverse of what I thought. If I

click on the X it is an immediate "hide" and will indicate so? Funny I never paid attention to the X's before. Guess these old eyes need a prescription upgrade. I appreciate everyones help.
