Telecom immunity will pass this week, and it will be the fault
of the Democratic Leadership--especially Jay Rockefeller and Harry Reid.

Chalk up another win for Bush's ability to cover up his crimes.

Our leaders, including Pelosi, simply do not want to hold the executive accountable for their crimes. How many times have they delayed, (and now finally stopped contempt charges for Miers, Bolton, and Rove?)

Let's face it. We have in control of the party right now a group of people who do not care about what we progressives think. They have the "where else are they going to go" attitude. In the meantime, the country keeps going down the crapper with the erosion of our civil rights.

This is pathetic, and we, the people need to start doing more than bitching about it on blogs. And, it's going to take all of us doing it together.

Harry Reid, Nancy Pelosi, Jay Rockefeller, etc. need to be replaced with real Democrats.

1. Democrat or republican, it doesn’t matter; it seems all our powerful leaders are corrupt.

2. Rockafeller = Jellyfish Supreme
I swear this guy must be afraid of his own shadow...what an embarassment! He knew a lot of what was going on but was bullied and compromised by the booosh regime to cave in on the most draconian invasions of our civil liberties ever. And what will he do? Write another letter and hide it in his desk?

I agree...there needs to be leadership changes...get Chris Dodd as chairman of the Intel committee and my senior Senator Durbin as the next Senate Majority leader!

4. As long as they can't be bought.
Because, it's obvious that Reid, Pelosi, Rockefeller, et al, can be bought at the right price.

6. All Politicians Are Bought...
Look at how much it costs just to hold onto a House seat. We're talking at least $1 mil...and a Senate seat could easily cost $25 mil this year. That money has to come from somewhere.

It's not the price as much as how cheap they sell out. That's the rub right now.

Cheers...

8. Because Sheehan isn't a Democrat. If she were running as a Democrat
in the primary, then it would be OK. She's not.

Pelosi is no leader, though, and needs to be relieved of her leadership duties and replaced with someone who will lead.
