That's some convoluted thinking; sounds familiar though.

Boot: McCain’s ‘bellicose aura’ is a boon for peace.

Writing in the Los Angeles Times today, Council on Foreign Relations Senior Fellow Max Boot, who is “an unpaid foreign policy advisor” to Sen. John McCain (R-AZ), claims that McCain’s bellicose aura will help America “to achieve more” of its “objectives peacefully” because he would frighten other countries:

Ironically, John McCain’s bellicose aura could allow us to achieve more of our objectives peacefully because other countries would be more afraid to mess with him than with most other potential occupants of the Oval Office — or the current one.

4. "More afraid to mess with him"?!
What, are we eight year olds on a school playground?

I will never understand people who operate in a world of fear and hatred based on dominance. Of course, it does help me sometimes not hate them so much when I realize that they probably got that worldview from being abused as kids.

5. Pverpaid "experts" from tax-exempt RW think tanks could convince themselves
that the sky was neon red--and they THINK that saying it often enough will convince us, too. (See--the economy, WMDs, alQaeda is under your bed, etc).

Idjits all.

Hey, sister! Good to see you back. :hi:
