Have we ever before fought an enemy from within? |
|
We are in a war against predatory capitalists who are using the Government to control resources and thus manipulate international markets, and those who depend upon them. They use intimidation tactics, lies, stonewalling, and the -perception- of power to gain actual power. They stack decks, do end-runs, plan the desired outcome ahead of time, and create causes and conditions to accomplish them. They are mocking and sadistic in the genuine sense of the word.
They are cowards who are running an extremely risky game. The potential benefits are becoming obvious (oil prices, record Exxon profits, no-bid government contracts, etc.)
Look at how they gloat. Gloating is a behavior of the terrified, who have gained a momentary sense of being somehow better than those they have had to use cowardly tactics against, to get what they want. Cowards. Peacemakers have the true strength. They don't need weapons, just the truth. Cowards need weapons and subterfuge and manipulation. Cowards have to attack the truth at every turn. They cannot bear it because they cannot function within the truth. Watch them destroy higher standards so that they can profit. Watch them damage those who stand against them and dare to tell the truth.
Consider how far from Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. the folks in BushCo truly are. Peacemakers build the community. Cowards damage the community to build themselves.
The kicker is, no one has yet asked, "How do you effectively deal with cowards and bullies?"...

1. BushCo is a syndicate of US enemies ... they always have been |
|
Prescott Bush should have been prosecuted for treason -- his little boy five times over (and his grandson, it needn't even be said).

2. Actually, I've answered that question. |
|
You deal with bullies by confronting them, by standing your ground, by letting them know you don't care if they hurt you because you're going to hurt them right back. They generally crumple like a cheap suit before a single punch is thrown and they'll leave you alone even if it does come to blows. They take the cowards, their gaggle of enablers, with them.
Most of us who slugged our way through middle school learned this. Our political leaders, grown in the hothouses of exclusive private schools, did not.
You don't get anywhere caving to a bully. The bully and his gang of cowards will come back for more laughs again and again until there is nothing left of you but despair.
You have to stand up and plant a knee firmly into their balls.

8. Disagreement is desired and accepted, |
|
it´s the way you ask "provoking" questions which lead me to think that you are not participating in discussions in order to "discuss", but instead, you are trying to "pick fights". When I read your posts, I think "there he is again, the sleeper freeper".
Just wanted you to know.
Have a nice day!

11. Ah. Well you aren't the first to think that. |
|
By the way, using quotations marks around words doesn't actually make you look any smarter.

10. Do none of the points I raise in the OP first paragraph resonate with you? |

Or are you frustrated and do not know where to aim your energy in order to make a difference?
To find out where, is the reason I started this thread.

12. I don't agree. But I'm a capitalist. |
|
I also don't like warlike imagery directed at people you disagree with politically; I don't like it when Republicans do it and I don't like it when Liberals do it.

14. They are most sincerely in a war against us. How to fight them and win, even through non-violence |
|
is the question. You are correct, I have accepted their framing, however, =what to do=?

9. Wasn't the Honorable John Conyers involved in Nixon's departure? |
|
If so, why isn't he fighting harder today? I've read his book on the case to impeach Bush. Why stop there?
