Of course, the creation of a class that is above the law, a class guilty of breaking the law and abrogating our rights, seems to be not quite as important to her as whatever it was she was doing.

Perhaps she did not want to go on the record with a position on this. Such lack of action tends to keep the campaign contributions coming in from certain monied quarters, doncha' know.

But ultimately, these Democratic votes against stripping the language are our fault. WE have not gone to war with the Dems who voted Nay. We still keep buying the bullshit manipulations and byu-and-switch of people like Jim Webb, who is serial in his behavior. WE will excuse Mrs. Clinton's absence, using the most tortured of logic we can muster. WE worked on the campaigns of the Dems who voted NAY.
