71. Clarification to avoid misunderstanding
My apologies for posting the Senate roll call link which had already been posted.

If you scroll about halfway down, you'll see that Clinton, Obama & Graham were not present for the final vote which occurred around dinnertime EST.

I'm sorry if I misunderstood or caused confusion.

73. Is that one for the amendment he voted for this morning?
My computer is acting up so I'm having trouble going back and forth, but my guess is that there are several similar looking links but they are all linking to several different actions. I think that's causing confusion. When I first read the post, I thought it was referring to the final vote but I think the discussion is referring to the vote on the amendment this morning - and Obama was there for that.

What do you think?

75. I don't know, but I am confused
The roll call I linked to appears to be the same numbers of yeas and nays as the final vote you posted (although I didn't see anywhere that it was the actual final vote) with the exception of the removal of Obama's name from the list.

Shit, I don't know.

77. Try this link - because I can't get the Senate links to open up for some reason
And yes, I cleared my cache - numerous times. :)

Anyway, this explains what I was trying to say which was only referencing the final vote - which I thought the original post was about.

I do apologize for the confusion.

The American people can respect genuine differences of opinion on the best way to move forward in Iraq. We should have a healthy debate about the best way to bring our troops home. Questions of war and peace are matters of conscience. When so many American and Iraqi lives hang in the balance, each of us has a responsibility to exercise our best judgment.

53. Not sure what bill that was? This was the amendment to the
intelligence bill that had immunity, the amendment would have stripped the immunity from the bill.

Webb voted against the amendment and for final passage of the bill with immunity clause intact.

Maybe Webb said he favored the judiciary bill which did not contain the immunity clause...I'm just guessing here.

This is their typical voting patterns over years and years.

This is why I think this Unity thing is a joke. It is members
of our own party who vote against us every day.

Why has not someone unified our party?? They think they are
going to unite the GOP . Better still unify the country.

Of course, perhaps they will be honest enough to say we
are the Democratic Conservative Party . This could explain
these votws.

Well I'm disappointed but not surprised. She seems to be immune to petitions, however. You do get a nice, phony, "form" letter back explaining how her job is just too complicated for your simple mind to grasp, but don't worry, she's doing the best she can for us! Maybe if she had to face a serious challenger in the next Primary?

*Sigh* - the spellcheck here wanted me to call her Einstein(D-CA). Riiight.

68. My apologies - I was referring to the final vote.
As I understand it, their votes wouldn't have made a difference anyway but I wish they would have voted on principle. Obama was there this morning for the amendment; the final vote was around dinnertime.
