That is so true.

We call their offices, we protest in DC, we write letters to our papers and it does not matter. I have stopped giving money to the party and only to candidates that speak for me. I don't know what else to do.

Coming as a child of the '60's when we turned this country around, I am now so disillusioned. "The People" turned out to be just a line of BS.

Those of us who are teachers try to find the positive way, the statement that builds the group, the idea that will bring people together and help move them forward.

Your journal entry is a measure of what we've had to surf and for so long and with no end in sight.
