I am so sick and tired of Harry Reid
1) What can we do to help remove him as majority leader.
2) What can we do to help put Chris Dodd or Russ Feingold in as majority leader.

Provided a democrat wins the presidency next year, we need someone from the democratic wing of the democratic party to stand up to the f'ing republiKlans.

1. There aren't enough progressives in the Senate
to elect Dodd or Feingold Majority Leader. There are a bunch of Democrats in the Senate but that doesn't mean shit. There are only a handful of Senators who give a rats ass about civil liberties or war or governement oversight. The rest, including a majority of Dems, are criminally complicit. It's a sick state of affairs.

2. Support progressive Senate candidates
especially in the primaries. Many states, such as mine, had their Presidential primaries early, but will hold primaries for other offices later in the year. My guess is that these primaries will not be well attended. This is our chance to vote in progressive candidates to the Senate.

3. Politics first - always
There isnt much you can do to him right now because its an election year. Always remember when it comes to Washington - ALWAYS politics first. Thats how they think.

4. Welcome to DU! And how flippin' true!!! Can't do our Constitutional duty...
...'cause it's an election year. We certainly can't impeach two immoral war criminals, 'cause it's an election year.

5. Did I not read some where
in the recent past that Hillary might get the majority leader post as a consolation prize if she did not get the nomination??

Not trying to stir up a hornets nest, it is just that I am sure I heard or ran accross that somewhere in the past few months.

8. Why don't you condemn the Democrats who voted against immunity instead? Feel free to call
my Senators, Lincoln and Pryor. Both voted against the amendment and against the Democratic party.
