OBSTACLES

Vitriolic

Cynicism

Hate

Bigotry

Bitterness

Corruption

Oppressors

Suppression

To sum it all up, these are from majority of threads that have been gracing DU
lately, especially GD: P

Is it so hard to show love? What happens to love thy neighbor as thy self, this nation was built on LOVE and HOPE, so many have become incline into this RAT RACE that majority of us have forgotten where we came from and what we stand for.

I would be the first to say, yes I am guilty, I've said things that I've regretted, so have others, but I'm able to take a time out, gather my thoughts, and change my path.

What is polarizing to me is the amount of distress I see everyday....poor schools, poor health care, poor standard of living in turn leading to distrust in the work place, all of these things have helped drive this country apart.

The mighty dollar has become love, people no longer matters, its about what we think is right, not what would be the right thing to do.

No one on this planet is truly experienced to handle the obstacles we face today, no one...

Abraham Lincoln
John F Kennedy
Martin Luther King
Gandhi
Winston Churchill
Nelson Mandela
Ann Frank

none of them had the experience, but they where able to touch people, by bringing change into
their lives, and the process able to unity us....White, black, asian, latinos etc.

All they had was Strength, Ability, Courage, Desire and Passion to change and stand
for something even in the advert of adversary.

Lets Remember that next time we post a thread.

1. anne frank was just trying to survive.

I think the anger that's spilling out on DU is borne of our desperation. Fear, as well. Our Congress has betrayed us yet again, and here we wait for the next election...helpless. When do we get that the next election ain't gonna fix jack?
