just forget about impeachment - Pelosi, Reid and Company win

If this congress couldn't find the stones to prohibit retroactive immunity for telecoms then there is NO WAY IN HELL they will ever vote to allow impeachment proceedings. No matter what comes to light. Pelosi, Reid and Company have made it painfully clear that: 1) they are republicans in democrat clothing since they basically flipped off almost 60% of this country who were against telecom immunity (according to latest polls on the subject) 2) they are firmly and squarely in bed with corporate America and 3) they are far more concerned with staying in power than they are representing American citizens or American concerns.

I think all progressives on this and other boards should make it our business when these corporate sluts are up for reelection to support whatever new Democratic candidates appear on the horizon to run against them. And do our best to demolish the DLC. LET’S TAKE BACK OUR COUNTRY: GET RID OF THEM ALL!
