Bush Freudian Slip in Fox News Interview.
WALLACE:

...So, to set the record straight, do you think it is legal {waterboarding} and are you prepared to authorize it if you believe it is necessary to protect the nation?

BUSH:

...The American people have got to know that what we did in the past gained information that prevented an attack. And for those who criticize what we did in the past, I ask them, which attack would they rather have not permitted — er - stopped?

3. Which attack did the waterboarding stop? The guy trying to take down a bridge with a pair of pliers?
Or the guy who was going to release hundreds of rabbits wired with explosives?

You know.

The more credible threats.

8. Doncha hate it when they skip the natural follow-up that is in everyone's mind?
I find myself yelling these obvious follow-up questions at the TV all the time. For some reason, the interviewees don't answer.

Seriously, I'm sick of sycophantic media hacks.

7. How the hell would we know? Tell us all the details of the 'attack' that was stopped by
torturing someone. The only 'foiled' attack I know about was that group of Florida wannabes that 'plotted' to blow up the Sears Tower without money or explosives.
