Sean Penn to appear Sunday at Kucinich fundraiser

Actor Sean Penn is appearing with 10th District Congressman Dennis Kucinich on Sunday Feb. 17 at the I-X Center. A mailed post card touting the event calls it a "Valentine's Fun Raiser" and calls Kucinich "America's Most Courageous Congressman."

Penn has supported Kucinich in both of his campaigns for President.

Admission to Sunday's event is $25. The cost of admission and having your picture taken with Penn is $100. The "Fun Raiser" runs from 3-6 p.m. at the I-X Center.

Actor Sean Penn will not be in Cleveland on Sunday to raise money for U.S. Rep. Dennis Kucinich.

Penn had to cancel because of a scheduling conflict, but he hopes to visit Cleveland before the March 4 primary, said Andy Juniewicz, Kucinich's campaign manager.

Tickets will be refunded, he said. Cost to attend the event at the I-X Center ranged from $15 to $1,000.

Penn has been a big supporter of Kucinich and attended his marriage in 2005.
