Country going down the tubes, but we've got the steroid hearings
On every single television news station.

As if these baseball hearings will put this nation on the right track. They have no time for anything important that is going on but they can show this in its entirety. Unreal.

6. I have said this several times, this is a waste of time, effort, and our money.
It infuriates me that we live in a nation where this kind of crap gets pushed ahead of much more important issues. Healthcare Reform? Naw, we gotta get Clemens up on the hill with us for a photo op! New Orleans Crumbling? Time to bring NFL Commissioner Goodell to Washington to talk about Spygate! This just makes me sick. This is NOT a Government by the people, for the people.

than these jerk offs.:grr: I guess this subject is on the high priority list. Sickening.

this is so insulting to clear thinking people, is there anything we can do??? this is disgraceful, just like them throwing checks our way, how insulting is that, "it's like throw the peasants something and keep them quiet" mentality.

10. I scream "I Don't care"
Every time it is brought up on some news show it drives me mad. When I think of the problems that people are going through because of our leaders not paying attention to what really matters I get sick.

14. 100% Agreement.
By what authority is Congress holding these hearings? What is the justification?

If there's a crime, shouldn't the justice department be handling it?

I just don't understand why congress has authority or would desire authority on this matter. Is it Pelosi's fault?

16. In the scale of what really matters among our national problems,
the steroid issue would have to be down around 2,000 in priority.

We are witnessing another example of congressional and media distraction from the FACT that the government has been taken over by sadistic and greedy criminals and that there is no one in authority who will try to do something about it.

17. It's all part of the big money game that this crazed society
is made up of . there is alot of money in sports , they probably have their lobby groups too .

I could care less about sports , never did , never will . This is just me .

It seems to be all part of keeping the people entertained and distracted from what's really going on . Once the walls go up and the lights go out it won't matter anymore , the wealthy will still have their games and most of the rest of us won't have the money to go to a game or afford the power to turn on the TV set .
