CNN: Clemens' atty asked for public hearings to clear his name
So all of this is so that Roger Clemens can lie to Congress on tv, going against the Michell Report and the sworn testimony of several other players who admited using steroids and HGH along with Clemens?

This shit is running live on CNN, CNN Headline News, MSNBC, CNBC, FOX and ESPN. Yesterday I had to search for FISA hearing coverage, but this masturbatory ego stroking can be shown on every channel.

I am so sick of Congress right now I could....

Re-elect none of these bastards. They have say idle as the president shredded the Constitution into hamster litter, but this is when they decide to play.

4. I could not be less interested in this hearing...
And I am a big fan of baseball.

I can't believe that this shit gets uninterrupted coverage on cable news, while we have to go to CSPAN if we ever want to see what is happening on the floor.

6. I have NEVER seen anyone as lawyered up as Clemens is
Just passing by a TV with his tesitmony on it I saw one lawyer standing up and announcing something and then another one whispering in Roger's ear before he spoke-from behind him.

8. plus, he has all the repuke reps acting as defense attorneys
cross examining McNamee like Torquemada on one hand and then tossing Roger some feel-good softballs on the other

10. What More Needs To Be Said?
I don't believe him either. Methinks he doth protest too much. Well, not too much. Just in a very inglorious way.
