List your one, two or three (or however many) favorite Congressional Democrats. |
|
Mine favorite by far is Sen. Barbara Boxer.
Other favorites are Sen. Schumer and Sen. Whitehouse.

My two senators make your list! You're not from RI, are you?
Jack Reed is one of my favorites and Whitehouse has done well so far - I even liked our R senator (Chafee.)

14. I lived in RI and Eastern Conn. as a kid and have been back many times since, but... |
|
I did some work on Chafee's campaign. He just didn't give a damn. Not the man his father was by any means.

I don't think Linc ever really wanted to be in politics.
Though he enjoyed being mayor.
His upcoming book should be interesting. He comes right out and says the voters did the right thing by voting for Whitehouse. Kinda weird for a politician to say that, but by that point, he wasn't exactly enamored of the R party.
I ran into him at Blueberry Hill a couple of months ago and he looked pretty happy. He's a nice guy.

I like Boxer a lot.
I also like my two Senators, Whitehouse and Reed. Can't stand out two reps, Langevin (DINO) and Kennedy.
I like Barney Frank as well.

Kennedy, Feingold, the deceased Henry Gonzalez.
I am hoping to put Obama on that list as a TOP lawmaker in that area. He's starting to show, but needs more go.

9. Rep. Lloyd Doggett (D-TX) |
|
He was one of the main targets of the DeLay redistricting scam, and he survived TWO drastic moves of his district.
He's a true-blue liberal, frugal, and really, really nice.
So are his wife, Libby, and their kids.

13. Take a look at Kentucky's new third district rep, John Yarmuth. He has |
|
voted the way I have wanted him to the entire time he's been there, i.e. since November 2006. He also does not take a salary.
