Waterboarding for Domestic Law Enforcement |
|
Edited on Thu Feb-14-08 07:42 AM by Prefer
Now that Waterboarding is out in the open as a valid interrogation tactic, I think we should explore its application to domestic law enforcement. It seems that if it is useful for fighting terror, why wouldn't it also be useful for fighting other crimes?
Think of how this could be used. We are familiar with the results of polygraphs and how much those have come into usage in criminal law enforcement. Waterboarding is like the polygraph on steroids. Now we can get to the truth from those suspected of crimes.
For example, how many people lie to the police about how many drinks they have had, when they get pulled over. Now we can get to the truth about that. It is basically a tool that will allow us to find out what suspicious people are trying to hide.
So everyone go out and contact representatives and ask them about extending Waterboarding rights down to the local law enforcement level. America deserves it.

the same people who support torture on an international level will most readily support it on a domestic level as well. They're sick puppies all.
