GD Primary posting Auction. Ebay style.

I'm thinking of starting a new forum called EBaY for the GD Primary posts. All you have to do is put up the number of posts per day that you're willing to auction to DUers who want to post over their three post limitation. Since this is Valentine's Day, I figure I'm willing to put my limit for two hearts per post. That means, for all three posts, for today, you have to buy six hearts from DU and send them to me.

How do you like me now?

P.S. This is just satire - not a serious post. The above is a perfect example of the kind of sell-out behavior that goes on in my community all the time. Every Rotary Club Rogue is always looking for an angle around the system. I'm a slow learner, but, eventually, I catch on.

5. There's just one more manuever that we need to do.

We need to get the three gurus of DU, Skinner, Elad and Earl Grey, on board with the idea. If we do it cleanly, we just promise them that the deal will end up with more money in DU's treasury because some of the more prolific posters will be buying more hearts. And if that fails, we get two of them to turn on the third.

That's how it's done in my community.

You see, how do WE know that the three gurus aren't part of the Telcom Immunity scandal? For all we know, they've been monitoring our e-mails and sending the choice ones to Agent Mike. Probably laughing about them over a Scotch Whiskey and a stogie.

I suspected a conspiracy when they disabled my "NEW MAIL," alert, yes I did. Next, they'll sell their address list to penis extending companies.
