I wish I could find more about her background and her specific position on the issues. It's certainly worth a close look and also worth an effort to try to organize support on a national level among the grassroots.

Trust me, nobody in Pelosi's district is happy with the job she's doing. We just have to get the word out that there's a better Democrat in the race.

Shirley will get national grass-roots support once people realize that they can help SF reject Pelosi and her style of politics.

Now we just need to find a primary opponent for Reid in 2010.
