1. I want to know who the dick was who voted against the NY Giants |
|
as Super Bowl champs. I saw the first part of that in the House (and wondered why they even do that), don't know how it ended, but cripes, just vote yea.

2. There are more important things they should be doing.... |
|
than voting on shit like sports... or investigating steroids in sports for that matter.
If I were in Congress I wouldn't vote on silliness such as this.

4. Why the hell are they wasting time on resolutions like that? |
|
Lord, no wonder the Congress has such low approval ratings.

8. i never understood what the hell crap like that has to do with governing |
|
and have always thought it rather disgraceful that they vote on shit like this (sports, hairdos, best yummy cake award at the state fair)
you're calling this guy a jerk? i think he's a fucking genius. and possibly knows and understand what governing is all about.
(hell, if that's all it takes to make some people happy with their representatives--then i would like to give you mine because i CAN'T STAND HER--and i'm sure she would be vote in favor of any sort of trivial shit as long as it is gop approved. that's what she always does.)

Calling a Democratic Congressman a "dick" is disrespectful and against DU rules.

10. There's plenty of Democratic Congress critters that fit the bill, smegma and |
|
all.Frankly I don't see how one can defend the party at this point. The leadership has totally failed to deliver on theBIG ISSUE of the Iraq occupation, or even to put up a meaningful fight. The same is true of most of the related issues. The Prison at Guantanamo Bay is still open as are possibly other secret prisons. We're holding people w/o bringing charges against them or even allowing them lawyers. We've had the military spying on US citizens on US soil, an action that is strictly forbidden by the Constitution but no one was ever even given so much as a flippin demerit for that egregious breach.A chance at a Farm Bill that could have made some real substantive change in the way we grow deliver and choose the food we eat was passed up in favor in doling out more dough to corporate Agribusiness so we can keep on poisoning ourselves and the planet. Me. I find all that and their lack of will to stand up to the war mongering fear baiting lying smirking son of a bitch that stole the WH twice way more unnerving than calling a spineless skunk a spineless skunk.
