Let's not call it the Department of Defense. Because it isn't. |

It should be called what it was called BEFORE the propaganda word of "defense" was installed.
It's the "War Department".
Where were they on Sept. 11, 2001? They certainly weren't "defending" anything...
"Defending America's interests" is a bullshit phrase that means using public money to defend private interests and we'll just call it "America's interests" even when the profits from those interests go to overseas accounts to avoid paying the very taxes that go towards "defending" those interests...

Changing the name from Department of War to Department of Defense meant nothing, it is still the same thing.
Like the "Department of Homeland Security" it is just a part of the propaganda.
