Those 15 boxes of JFK assassination material that just showed up
contains a "transcript" of Oswald making damning comments about finding an appropriate location to shoot Kennedy.

I don't think this issue or question of conspiracy will be put to bed in my lifetime.

BTW: I don't believe Oswald was a "lone gunman"; I do believe Kennedy was shot by more than one person.

1. I agree with you. I think it was a bigger conspiracy than
Americans will ever know. I think this will be a secret that will stay hidden forever.

4. more than one person killed him, and I truly believe it was
orchestrated by people in the government and those who wanted power, and it was a total coverup.

more than one person remember the "grassy knoll?"

18. You bet
He was the one that benefitted directly from the assination. His dislike of Kennedy was well known.

6. why would E. Howard Hunt have a "deathbed confession"
if there wasn't a conspiracy?

and didn't the reopened investigation determine that there was a conspiracy? and what about the guy, Veciana who got shot in the head but survived after he testified about a CIA guy he knew as "Maurice Bishop" who met with Oswald... and Oswald was i.d.ed by numerous people when he was with Clay Shaw and David Ferrie before the assassination handing out pamphlets.. the ONLY white person... to make him rather noticeable...

The CIA had final say on what went into the House Select Committee Report on the Assassination, so, gee... how truthful is that thing?

One good way to look at it is this: if Mexico had a president who was assassinated after a guy was taped a couple of weeks before talking about diff. ppl who were planning to assassinate him, if someone had made friends with the assassin and also lied about his connections with the Mexican secret intel service ala CIA and Shaw, if witnesses were shot in the head after a day of testimony, if the person assassinated had sworn to go after the mob, in spite of the mob's cozy relationship with internal and external spy agencies... if this new president didn't support a drive to invade Honduras and overthrow their leader, but the secret services did... if this pres. fired the head of intn'l spy agency b/c that head engaged in covert actions without the approval of the president.. and then THAT SAME person was in charge of the investigation of the assassination...

really, if this had happened in any other nation, no one in the U.S. would question that it was not a successful conspiracy to kill the president. in fact, people would think someone was naive to not believe it.

same with the coup d'etat here in 2000.

Americans are so fucking stupid because they think they're so superior.

15. Gov. John Connally was Secretary of the Navy under Kennedy in 1961
Oswald, ex-Marine living in Russia had written Connally and demanded that his dishonorable discharge be changed. Connally refused. Many think that Connally may have been his true target, rather than Kennedy.

8. you mean the Warren Commission didn't have this
to support their lone nut thesis? That would have been prima facie evidence in 1964. Why did they wait 43 years to publish it? Something doesn't add up IMHO.

Maybe some of this stuff was doctor'ed and it's being released now for public propaganda effect.

The single bullet theory was the most laughable excuse for proving that Oswald did it. CE399 is a pretty far-fetched excuse for explaining anything within scientific rationality.

11. And yet there are virtually legions of people
out there that will argue the merits of that ridiculous theory no matter what common sense dictates.

14. I noticed many of them were in boxes marked "Office Depot"...
Now I don't know how long Office Depot has been around but I'm pretty sure those were not the original boxes from 1963??

16. What Kenny O'Donnell heard ...
Edited on Tue Feb-19-08 02:12 AM by Morning Dew
In Tip O'Neill's book, "Man Of The House", Tip wrote that Kenny O'Donnell told him he was sure he heard two shots that came from behind the fence.

O'Donnell testified otherwise the way the FBI wanted him to. They told him it couldn't have happened that way and he was imagining things. He also wanted to save pain and trouble for the Kennedy family.

17. he was murdered
Afer all of these years, I agree with your comment. And yes President Kennedy was gunned down from within.
My hair fell out when we were based in Gitmo at that time, I was so upset.
And, today chatting with good friends in our local VFW today for the cookout and I was told Obama would be murdered. And I said Obama knows this..... so anyway I was for Edwards, but he dropped out, so I voted for Ohama.
President Kennedy was killed from within, and this is my story and I am sticking with it.

20. I don't know if more than one person shot him or not..
but Oswald was definitely not acting alone. I also don't think John Wilkes Booth acted alone in killing Lincoln, and that full and true story has NEVER come out, so in all likelihood, we will never know.

24. Read "Oswald's Tale" by Norman Mailer
Edited on Tue Feb-19-08 10:54 AM by DemoTex
Mailer does extensive research into Oswald's twisted past, but pretty much leaves 11/22/1963 up to the reader. Oswald's Tale is an excellent read.
