I wish he were still alive. His work really meant so much to me when I was in college.
I see that "Curse of Lono" has been re-released in hardcover, as it should have been (although we collectors of the first edition will now be screwed as a result).
When is the third and final book of his letters to be released? First it was in 2007, then it was January 2008, and now it seems to be January 2009. Anybody know what the delay is about???
Eh, there's not much point to this post, except I miss the hell out of this great writer and complex human being named Hunter S. Thompson. For better or worse (most likely for worse), he shaped my world and my perception of it.
