I know most of you haven't watched the first season of this political/war drama, but I find the subject matter fascinating. An apparent group of terrorists (or Iraq and N. Korea) have attacked several American cities with nuclear weapons and a small town in Kansas struggles to survive.
This short second season is on now. . .and it looks more and more like some right-wing takeover of the U.S. in the West. . .
Is anyone watching?

3. I watched last season, but the first episode of this season |
|
looked like something pulled off the shelves because of the writer's strike. I'll watch the episode tonight that I tivo'd, but last week's episode was really weak as was many of the later episodes from last season.

6. It's a bit of a footnote... |
|
...but in both the remake of Knight Rider, and in Jericho, there are companies that are BLATANTLY supposed to be "Blackwater" (Jericho they call the company Ravenwood, in Knight Rider, it's called Blackriver). And the Blackwater company is just as heinous and evil as we imagine them to be, and just as wedded to corrupt power. Kind of interesting.
Oh, and I've seen the first three episodes of the new season. It doesn't just look like...

I started watching it for the eye candy, sorry but Skeet is a cutie. Anyway, partly because I was interested in the Kansas references. I kinda grew to like it. Enough so that I am glad it is back and I watch this new season. It is more interesting now.

9. I'm only halfway through the first season on torrents. I thought the attackers were unknown? |
|
There was an episode where a bunch of refugees pretending to be marines mentioned Iran & NK, but it was then found that that was just one of several rumors. Was the Iran/NK thing found to be true?

10. Oh no...we can't spoil it. . .:-) |
|
You'll have to keep watching...and, by the way, if you have broadband, they have most episodes online through the CBS web site.
I'm likin' the way this program is developing. I hope they manage to keep it on longer than these seven second season episodes. . .

14. I watched the first few episodes... |
|
...but I couldn't get past the idea that a town within viewing distance of a nuclear attack could survive just because the wind was blowing in a different direction that day.

16. They may have second season episodes posted online |
|
at CBS.com. Last season, they would put all of the episodes on there for free viewing.
