1. And people question why Republicans and Independents are flocking to Obama
People are tired of the bull that has been the Republican controlled government. They are ready for Hope and ready for Change.

I sure hope Bush endorses McCain.

31. I attribute this new gutteral low to a compare-and-contrast thing.
With the election season underway, as we search for Chimpy's replacement, I think Americans have gotten a look at what real leadership is, and what real leadership looks like.

Hence the dive in Chimpy's ratings. Can't wait until January 20, 2009!!!

"How Low Can You Go?"

Too bad it took so many people 8 years to decide what an incompetent bozo he is.

I'd guess his coming back is what caused the drop in support.

20. "It's the Economy, Stupid"
War, torture, lies, fraud, theft, trashing the Constitution: Nothing

A little personal financial discomfort: Bush is a bum!

Not that I really care what the cause is as long as his disapproval rating keeps climbing. The lower he falls the more Congressional dems discover their cojones, progressives become emboldened and the better for us in the upcoming elections.

21. I noticed that is "registered voters". I wonder if the influx of new voters is skewing those numbers
and what I mean by that is skewed them toward being more accurate. the dissolutioned non-voter has not been previously counted in these polls.

The base is really caving. Strange that it should happen now, in a relatively quiet period, in light of all the outrages of the last seven years that went by almost unnoticed.

38. I'm theorizing that the rapid drop relates more to McCain locking-up the nomination...
... than anything else, and the far-Right Conservatives are blaming Bush.

35. I expect this drop also relates to dissatisfaction with McCain among far-Right Conservatives ...
... who blame Bush for their current predicament. The economy's been bad for a while, but McCain locking-up the nomination is the only real change since January.

My guess is that the party will have a restraining order taken out against him. He won't be able to come within 200 feet of the arena.
