Ann Coulter's Credit Card Denied At Florida Supermarket

February 20, 2008 -- ANN Coulter suffered a serious embarrassment over the weekend when her credit card was declined in Palm Beach. According to our spy, the nutty arch-conservative was caught at 9:45 p.m. Saturday night in the 10 Items or Less line at the local Publix when her card was rejected. "She was embarrassed but didn't make a scene," our witness said. "She just paid with cash and ran out of there. But at least she's eating."

9. I've seen that "work done" look before, it always makes the person look worse
than if they had just let nature take its course.

Now she looks like something out of the early 80's AD&D Fiend Folio book. (fellow geeks will know what I mean)

Yes, blephoroplasty, and not done well
She'll have that perpetually surprised look from now on. I also see she's had some of the tobacco stains removed from her teeth.

At least the plastic surgery recovery periods will keep her off camera for increasingly longer periods of time as her looks continue to go.

When her looks are gone, so is she, and she knows it.

12. At first glance, I read that as "blasphemeoplasty".
That kinda sounds like something Coulter would have done,
doesn't it?

In her case, I assumed the phrase would
refer to some sort of ENHANCEMENT!

15. That's from eating dog food. Alpo is Ann's favorite. Three cans
a day makes Ann bright eyed and bushy tailed.

Notice how big the eyes are on the doggie!

7. Hmmm, it would be interesting to find out WHY?
There are lots of reasons it could have happened that have nothing to do with the CC owner's failure. I remember when I received an IRATE CALL from one of our salesmen because his card had been denied! I checked with the CC company, and they said they denied it because there had been charges made on it in TX & in MX within hours of each other and that looked to them like the card might have been stolen! I got it straightened out for him, but he was NOT a happy camper!

13. If your card is declined because of something other than non/late payment
you don't "get embarrassed, pay with cash and run out", you step aside, get out your cell phone and get the problem handled.

Just like every other republican, she thinks she doesn't have to play by the same rules as us commoners.

26. You do?
I've had cards that wouldn't go through before, and I either use another card or pay cash and THEN take care of the issue. After they've rung up all your stuff, why hold up the whole line while you are on your cell phone calling the card company?

29. That would be the "step aside" part.
The point is I wouldn't be embarrassed about it and run out unless I hadn't paid my bill.

Maybe republicans are different.

31. Well, if they've already rung it up, you would have to void it
so I would still pay with something else and take care of it afterward, to avoid inconveniencing anyone else. Of course, it was 9:45 PM, so odds are there weren't many people at Publix then.

35. Yup.
That happened to me when I was trying to pay for a car repair.

I called the CC company, and spoke with someone. It turned out that the problem was with the mechanic's terminal.

I knew I had nothing to be embarrassed about because I had paid my bill.

32. Agree -- I've had my card denied because of a flurry of activity (all mine, I'm
embarrassed to admit). But I stood right there and called the CC company to find out what the problem was. When I've tried to eek through a charge but gotten "caught", I did the same as Coulter.

Rich from the ill gotten gains of her slanderous books, a public figure with a fairly common name, a perfect target.

If her character were a tad less toxic, I might even feel sorry for her.
