The real news: NYT once again holds back a story to affect the elections |
|
Edited on Wed Feb-20-08 08:28 PM by librechik
once again we don't find out until it's too late to do anything about it.
Once again the NYT is a useless, feeble and frightened institution, as unprofessional as can be.

3. thanks--I was talking about the 2000 election |
|
that was the election they originally held back the story to affect.
It won't have an effect on this one either--he's already the candidate, and all the Pukkkes who would refuse to vote for him over an affair already will refuse to vote for him over some other dried up nitpicky prude pimple. I think I'm about to die of irony. can I do that?

but i read the nyt article and i didn't see anything in there to cause the kind of rejoicing i saw in here..... it mostly seemed like an almost scandal from a long time ago....was there something i missed....or is this simply the giddiness caused by the fact that the democrats seem to be on top at the moment.....

5. May have been a "long time ago", but the fact that they knew of it |
|
and sat on it, until now...that seems to be the issue..
If they knew for a long time, and never put it out there, and just did it now..well that says something about them, doesn't it?

mccain denies it the girl denies it...so what exactly did they sit on....that mccains advisors were made nervous by the appearance this might give......

8. that's a good point. Rush has been waiting for ammo against McCain |
|
I wonder if this is a big enough stink for him to blow it up into a resignation? hmmm.

is gonna torpedoe mccain and help obama get elected......not.......by april the rw talking heads will have found some good thing to say about mccain.......they're never gonna change sides and they're never gonna go without a fight....the repubs could put up charles manson for the white house and at the end of the day....the rw noise machine will support him....and the bedrock repubs will vote for him....and anybody thinking that's about to change is in for a real let down.....my guess is the rw will find some way to get the obama limo sinclair story deep into the echo chamber and try to knock obama off that way.....
