5. Oh how awful
It's freezing cold here but DH is a major astronomy freak so he is running in and out of the house taking pictures with every camera we have. He is out there with my iphone now. LOL

I just popped some shots as well...a nice and clear and fuckin' cold night here in Chicago. The moon is east/southeast and not a cloud in the sky.

Enjoy!!!

(We've got Pink Floyd on here tonight...with s little Redbone, Genesis (Mad Man Moon) and Santana's Moonflower...)

I didn't know about that. I'll have to look for the moon over the next few days to see if I can see the stripes.

I think the lines are branches from a tree that was in the way of the picture taker's view of the moon.
