As some of you are unfortunately aware, "CNN Headline News" shows Glenn Beck (the RW radio complainer who literally looks like an aging toddler), for at least 3 hours per evening, doing what he does best...complaining about liberals.
Oh, he complains all the time about every aspect of government, about Bush too, so I don't disagree with him all the time. Inevitably, sometimes I agree with him, as probably do most viewers. He has struck a nerve with the general population by complaining about US government.
But that's too easy, isn't it? We are all dissatisfied with our government. But "CNN Headline News" assumes viewers want a republican ass-kisser (sycophant for the liberal elites) to speak for them.
I have expressed myself eloquently to CNN before about their poor taste in allowing Glenn Beck to dominate their prime time, but obviously nobody cared. I must be one of those 'liberal elites'. :eyes:
Tonight (of what little I watched), Beck whined about 2 things:
#1 Health care sucks in Great Britain, so we shouldn't allow liberals to impose socialized health care here in the U.S.A., unless we want to wait in long lines (no he didn't say queues). We have such great health care here in the US, so we would be foolish to heed the socialist liberal Democrats.
#2 Jonah Goldberg is an expert on the 'Fascist Liberal Agenda' (his words). He's going to edify us about those: (my translation) Lib Nazis.
I am an educated person with a good vocabulary, and I use profanity very sparingly. I've already told CNN how I feel about Glenn Beck in a politely, intelligently scathing way, but they don't care about liberals like me. Enough is enough.
So tonight, I sent this email:
"I am writing to voice my outrage at CNN for showing Glenn Beck, the aging adolescent, for an outrageous 4 hours of prime time every single night!
I am an eloquent, well spoken person, but since I know none of you care what I have to say, FUCK YOU, CNN and your "so called Headline News" that you rode to town on. FUCK YOU for playing that RightWing dumbass Glenn Beck ALL FUCKING EVENING. I don't buy a word he says. On the contrary, I just despise and distrust CNN for imagining that the public will eat up every word he says. Don't insult my intelligence, please. Just because you were a once-respected cable news channel doesn't mean I'll keep my mouth open while that bullshit is being kicked around.
I can think and read for myself, and so once again, FUCK OFF for thinking I'm easily persuaded, CNN.
I invite you to call me and verify my words, when I'll just tell you once again that I'm not buying your stupid neo-con agenda no matter how many times you smack that 2x4 on viewers' heads."
