1. And why would I want to watch? |
|
For that matter...why should I care?
Who's boinking who just isn't on the radar of importance no matter what their political party is. Stopping the war...yeah, that's a big one. McCain flip-flopping on torture...yep, another big one.
Sometimes people are like puppy dogs who chase after imaginary sticks.

Let's hope more people feel this way. I'm actually afraid of Huckabee and I think McCain is easily beatable, I hope he stays right where he is. But this country is so concerned with issues like this. People have still not forgiven Bill.

Anh, you probably shouldn't. But for those of us in the "turnabout is fair play" kiddies' section of our political landscape, we're rubbing our hands with undisguised glee at the prospect of listening to all those sanctimonious Republican blowhards explain why nobody should care about their party's standard-bearer pissing all over sacred family values, and why no one should have to sweat an explanation for their children.
You're probably a much better person than me in other ways, too.

8. Those same blowhards who foamed at the mouth over Clinton... |
|
will look the other way when it comes to one of their own. They always do. Mark Foley comes to mind. Hastert and a lot of other repukes looked the other way with that freak and did nothing.
'Turnabout is fair play' just doesn't happen to those who deserve it.

10. Gannon comes to mind too. |

However, this might be normal sex. Trophy laden, profit driven, marriage breaking, upgrade sex. Republican bathroom Senator Craig's wife can live in denial because of gender. McCain's second wife has to ignore a younger woman, much more difficult. For viewers too.
No, only someone like Gingrich could get away with something like what McCain may or may not have done.
I mention Gannon because he, like Huckamoon, apparently have ties to Moon. People continue to look away from that cult-gone-DC.

11. Gannon needs to be kept |

in the news. There is more there than meets the eye. I wonder if when the Valerie Plame movie comes out, he will be in it and who will play him.....

12. Gannon is old news and was really never news to begin with... |
|
When that whole business was going on I knew then it wouldn't get much traction and it didn't. Gannon's nothing more than an embarrassing joke for the WH.

9. The supposed affair isn't the real issue here |
|
Campaign finance reform and McCain's hypocrisy where that's concerned is the real issue. McCain taking soft money and using his power to see to it that those companies who lobbied him were taken care of. THAT is the real issue.

13. Folks love a sex scandal... |
|
Politicians talk to lobbyists all the time. Some are influenced and bought by them...some are not. They may have or may not have slept together.
Again, I say...so what? I don't care and there is no reason for me to care about this.
McCain's supporting the war. I care about that. His support of torture. I care about that. The notion that a McCain administration will be nothing more than four more years of bush...I care about that. That's a hell of a lot more important than some minor lobbyist that McCain may or may not have slept with.
