As you all know, John McCain has already been smeared by the best--the Bush campaign--back in 2000. So, when the Republicans start playing dirty in 2008--all we have to do is trot out the smears they so kindly wrote for us.

The most we would have to do is pay a small royalty. Look at the quality of this slime. We could never match this:

MAny of the Hillary backers have actually argued that Hillary being pre-smeared actually is an ADVANTAGE for her. Others have argued, like you did with MCCain, that the old memes could easily be dusted off.

I am of the opinion that both candidates have big weaknesses as candidates. But in neither case are the smears the biggest ones.
