In Baltimore, the Democratic mayoral primary is effectively the general election.

In Baltimore, the Democratic mayoral primary is effectively the general election.
I'm thinking that the national elections this year are shaping up pretty much the same.

Of course, in Baltimore, the Democratic mayoral nominee gets about 90%+ of the vote. That won't happen in the presidential race, but I can see a landslide in the 60-40 range staring to shape up.

While I'm in no way advocating cockiness - as Democrats we are always vulnerable - I'm pretty confident that the Republicans are just not into it this year and we want it ..... bad!

(Mods: this is NOT intended as a candidate thread and I have studiously avoided even hinting at a favorite.)
