First, let us consider that he has campaigned on being Mr. Straight Talk who is big on ethics and cleaning up Washington and all that jazz.

Second, let us consider that he was out in front on getting Clinton impeached over the whole Monica blowjob.

Third, let us consider that ON TOP OF potentially having sex with a lobbyist he gave said lobbyist's clients special favors and consideration in relation to a committee he was chair of, giving the feeling of some degree of quid pro quo.

Not only is the hypocrisy astounding, the poetic irony here is so juicy.

It is moments like these that vindicate my belief in the Gods, because I am convinced this whole thing has Loki's fingerprints all over it.

Look at Ms. Iserman's client list...it has some of the biggest Telcom and Broadcast players and to amass that kinda list you either have to be one hell of an effective lobbyist or the right connections in the right places.

I could easily see this PYT flirting with the old man...yankin' his chain with the "possibilities" and in the meantime "hun, could ya do me one little favor???". The sex is secondary to the influence peddling that could be the real story...and also who is behind pushing this story that could turn the GOOP nomination on its head.
