The good, the bad, and the ugly list of bobthedrummer-A DU project
I'm handing out a list to DU. On it are names of people (living and dead) that have been discussed here for many years.

It is just a list of names I've been researching for many years, I'll be adding more of them later.

I have my personal opinions and biases about many of them-I've also changed my mind about some of them and need to hear what other DUers have to say in response to this list.

It is a random list, as you go through it and you feel you want to comment or respond in any way to a name on it please do so.

If you have questions about who these people are/were do an engine search for yourself-then post what you come up with.

This list will be added to, this is the first installment-and by all means don't hesitate to add your own list of names to it so that I can compare it to my list of heroes and villains, the good, the bad and the ugly.

1. Paul Bremer
Edited on Thu Feb-21-08 03:26 PM by DrDebug
The reason I'm supplying only one name is because there is far more to Paul Bremer than meets the eye and he is a master of secrecy and playing and looking dumb. He could actually be worse than Cheney especially since his history prior to 2000 is almost completely unknown, however it doesn't pass the smell test and his interests and rare interviews are very disturing. Paul was always at the wrong place at the wrong time and for some weird reason nobody noticed him, because he tends to be overlooked.

4. Bremer could turn out to be the worst of them all
For the people of Iraq, he already is.

For the future fate of America, he may be the originator of the biggest "blowback" in history.

Just my little prediction.

8. Rich & Bath would make good speakers at the DU symposium cruise.
Wise people would pay to hear you speak, blm.

bobthedrummer and a whole lot o' DUers, too.

In all seriousness: We miss Henry and Joe. Jack and John would make really good speakers on a DU symposium cruise. Throw in John Conyers and Elizabeth Holtzman, for good measure. Heh heh.

9. Help me remember...
There was a guy that DU made a stab at researching during the B(ev)H days. He was some "fat cat" dude who headed up some sort of machine-certifying tax-exempt organization(?) with ties to code writers for Diebold(?).

No one could find but a few on-line photos of this guy for days. His only claim to competence in the election circus ring was as an owner of a computer shack back before the day. I can remember the fever while DUers were searching google, public records, maps, and satellite images of what might have been his home...it did seem that as fast as his name came up, he once again slithered off into the night...

If someone remembers the name, put him on your list too.
