Poll question: If a Democrat wins in November, will the celebrations be bigger than V-J Day?

This picture is of Times Square on V-J Day. Think we'll top it?

1. Actually yeah - the Republicans will both mourn and
tear into us for being happy in our victory.

"My friends we've been told for years that Liberals are the Most Compassionate among us. They care the most and they feel the most for our suffering. So what do we see when they win an election? Are they kind? Are they compassionate? No! They waste no time rubbing their victory in our faces. Look at the celebrations last night and today; do they show any concern for the suffering their victories are causing their fellow citizens? No."

Something like that.

2. Personally, I look forward to being too delirious with joy to care.
8 years of pent-up negative emotion all wiped out at once.

3. That's republicans for you.
They'll simultaneously try to be the overwhelming majority as well as the defenseless, persecuted minority. Whatever's convenient at the time for them.

4. I expect people to hit the street in my neighborhood
and I expect there to be a band, tamales, dancing, and general celebration.

I don't live in the GOP part of town by design.

8. .00001 seconds after the Dem is declared the winner in the 08 election - the media will be
"Why hasn't he/she got us out of this war? Look at the deficit he/she has caused! Why hasn't he/she cured world hunger? On this issue, let's go to our guests ... for the right, Bill O'Reilly. For the center, John McCain. For the left, Democrat Senator Joe Lieberman ..."
