Delicious bumper sticker I saw yesterday
It was an older model small pickup.
Had a fading DFA sticker on it...but right next to it was this great bumper sticker:
"You want to clean up the country? Fine. Let's start with Texas"

1. yep the pig farm would be a good place to start
after that kick off it will be easy to get everybody, save for a few republics, to put on the work shirts and get busy cleaning things up. Yes but start with the pig farm

2. Where did you see this bumper sticker?
I'll bet your ass it wasn't here in Texas. That driver wouldn't last long here. BTW, what's your beef with Texas?

4. LOL at a Brookshires Parking lot in East Texas
The bumper sticker was basically saying we should clean up our OWN mess (Perry, Delay, redistricting, Craddick, etc) before we worry about telling anyone else what to do.
What's your beef with the Democrats in Texas who KNOW it is all fucked up?

7. No offense...but I have never seen your name on DU before tonight
sorry if I am NOT going to tell you where I live. It was in East Texas.:eyes:
Believe it or not...I could truly care less, but I don't go around taking pictures of other people's vehicles.

8. Reported by Molly Ivins: Bumper sticker in East-Tex during Bu$h v. Ann Edwards.
I AM THE QUEER ANN SENT TO GET YOUR GUN

Apocryphal? Maybe. But it did come from the late, great Molly Ivins. It was the Rovian play against the big fears of east Texans: Gays and Gun Control.

I've never seen anything like that...wish I did.
Believe it or not, there are pockets of liberals out here in the piney woods.

10. Yep
Being a transplant to Texas and having my eyes opened up pretty quickly here ... I understand exactly how you feel.

as an aside ... I was astonished to learn very early on that some Texans register as Democrats (in the primaries) so that they can "pick" the candidate they want to vote against in the general election. pretty clever, huh?

11. In our county (and I am not going to tell that one either)
:)
The entire town votes the Democratic primary because all of the sheriff's candidates run under the Democratic ticket because the county won't elect a republican sheriff--except for about 120 people during the last election who voted republican.

12. So you've never seen me on DU
until tonight? Well, I've been here since 2005. What's your point? And I doubt you live in Texas.

13. HEHE..considering that other DU'ers are well aware that I live here
and that I actively worked on two Democratic campaigns during the 2006 cycle...I honestly don't give a shit what you "think" you know.:hi:

15. Find a different hobby. I am not available for yours.
:)
I have nothing to prove to you. You think I am a liar? Fine. Do what I do to folks that I think lie--put them on ignore and move on.
With that being said...end of conversation to you.:hi:

16. I hope you have a good night
and can get the corn cobb out of your ass. The ignore option is the sign of one who has no legitimate argument or response. It is the cowards way out.

17. you called me a liar, said I don't live in Texas...do you expect me to befriend you?
Get a grip will you. It was about a bumpersticker. Nothing really important yet you want to spar over it and then start exhibiting stalkerish tendencies.
To that I say...Thanks...but really, no thanks.:eyes:

19. I saw one.
"No one drowned while Bill was in office."

Of course, here in New Orleans, that one really rings loudly.
