A group calling themselves Pastafarians started writing letters to the creationists trying to get "intelligent design" taught in schools. They demanded that if the Christians were going to teach intelligent design in schools, that their creation myth also be taught - where life was created by the great Flying Spaghetti Monster whose noodley appendage was used to create life here on Earth. This was a year or two back when the Kansas creationism debates were going on... it kind of took off since then.
