So I have been real busy the past few days and missed all the McCain

hoopla this morning...

I just read the article and boy it seems as if everyone except the NYT went bat shit crazy over the article...

All it really said was McCain had deep relationships with several lobbyists, he hung around with some shady characters and had a pretty lady as a real good friend...

The allegations of the affair came from people who were or still are close to the "Maverick" Senator from AZ...

They were more worried about how it would look instead of if he was actually shtupping her...

So the Times Never actually said McCain was having an affair...

The paper just talked about some of his top aides being concerned about a particular lobbyist, who happened to be blond and sort of hot, in a Republican sort of way, hanging around a little too much with the potential presidential candidate...

And that wasn't even the main thrust of the article...

So CNN, MSNBC, Headline News, Talk Radio all implied that the Times had claimed he was having an affair...

We won't even mention Fox because I have the channel on ignore...

I wonder if any of those people actually read the article...

Nah, that would be too much like journalsm...

Reading is something other people do...

They'd rather think up some "new" ways to sell the sex angle...

I don't think they'd know journalism if it hit them in the face...
