FindLaw columnist and former counsel to the president John Dean discusses yesterday's controversial New York Times story quoting sources claiming that U.S. Senator and presidential candidate John McCain engaged in inappropriate conduct with respect to lobbyist Vicki Iseman. McCain probably is trying to not make this a big deal.

I think the sex story is bogus, even if they did boink. The real story is the lobbying impropriety. That probably extends quite a ways beyond the boudoir.
