security at these public venues. I'm old enough to remember the horrible assassinations back in the day of JFK, Robert and MLK. A lot of you weren't even born yet but this lack of "check" at Dallas jumped right out at me. Barack's people have to get on this, he is most likely to be the first African American President of the United States and there are a lot of crazy gun totin' klans types out there who refuse to absorb this.
When I read, in Dallas of all places, that security checks for weapons was stopped my heart stopped. If anything should happen to him this country will be in chaos. I'm not exaggerating or being a drama queen, I've been this route before. Every available amount of security needs to be implemented. These crazies look like you and me, they're a non-descript individual(s) with a mission and will find a way to complete their mission. Entering a venue site the day before to plant the weapon, etc. I hope his people are on this, I am very, very concerned.

Bush's fear-mongering has gotten to you. Somebody has got to step back from having Gestapo agents at every door checking people's papers before they can enter. Didn't you have enough of that with Dubya's scripted events? I'm glad that Obama is toning down the Nazi rhetoric about having security everywhere.

4. No one is talking about Islamic extremists. |
|
The references to JFK, RFK, and MLK were clear enough.

Reminds me of the West Wing episode where there was an assassination attempt on President Bartlet. It would be the worst thing imaginable.

I even tried to call his campaign number that was listed on his website but no answer, and there were just other options regarding his campaign.

7. Actually I went to his website and after a few clicks I did find the |
|
"Contact Us" site. I copied and pasted this OP and told them where it was from. I'm sure they're on it but still.... The terrorists as far as I'm concerned are right here in this country, we don't need to import them. I live in the south, listen to them talk to each other in the 7-11s etc. with gun racks on their trucks and attitudes.

I even found a fax number for something else like donations or something and sent them a fax and the article. We need some answers on this.

6. When they are checking for weapons |
|
at the aquarium, at the zoo, at concerts, at courthouses, etc, etc, etc, then WHY can't they do proper security checks for a possible presidential candidate's rally?
Its absurd.
Especially considering the level of security surrounding the current mis-administration.
Runs right along with LIHOP philosophy.
