5. from $2.89 to $3.09 overnight
I heard there was a refinery explosion and filled up before that hit the price at the pump.

BP seems to progressivly lower it's prices by 10 or 20 cents then shoots them up 20 cents overnight for no apparent reason in a cycle taking around 2 weeks over and over again. $3.09 is the highest I've seen in a while and we're not in "Driving Season" yet. I can't wait for that

6. Saw 2.99 to 3.20 ...

Also in Houston.

This place has been, in my experience, higher than pretty much anyone around though.

7. 38 Cents In 36 Hours, Lower Arkansas
From 2.77.9 to 3.15.9. I have taken to walking into gas stations and saying reassuring things like

"I am SO glad we got rid of Bill Clinton and his dollar-fifty gas. Thank GAWD-uh for George Bush!"

All the rednecks just look away like they're embarrassed or something.

10. Paid $2.99 today in Austin
at Chevron. But that was in the morning. Maybe they jacked it up a dime by the end of the day. I'll know when I go out tomorrow.
