I suggest we start brainstorming Cabinet members that are outside of Congress |
The last thing we want to do is weaken our Majority in the Senate especially or even in the House. When our Candidate wins the Presidency let us hope they nominate some worthy people from outside Congress. We don't need to lose any Senators unless of course we pick up very large super majorities, which of course is quite possible. Maybe some Democratic Governors or Mayors or even someone from the Private sector. I know at least a few aides read these political blogs and pick up ideas from them. Names written here could gain future momentum if picked up and bandied about.

1. Sarah Palin ~ the Governor of Alaska |
She is a Republican that has an overall approval rating of 94% nationwide (highest in the nation)according to Vogue Magazine which just did an issue on women governors. In Alaska more Democrats like her than Republicans. She just made a statement saying she believed both Don Young and Ted Stevens should come clean with the people because she believes more infrmation is better than less information..I know both of our candidates will place at least a couple of Republicans in their Administration. I would like it to be ones that are trustworthy.
