The governing principle is: the name that the people who KNOW him best call him. When Media Whores Online ran their contest in 2000 on what to name Tweety, there was no clear consensus, with "Screamer" was a lukewarm frontrunner. Sidebar: Given what we know now about his man-crushes, perhaps CREAMER should be the one. But I digress. Then somebody from Tweety's OWN STAFF informed that the staff called him Tweety because of his preferred Clairol shade, and this was immediately declared the winner.


So here we have a gossip leak that "politicos" on the inside call him McNASTY:
