Just saw Sicko. Uplifting and less awful than I feared. |
|
I thought I would wind up fuming. And while there are parts that show governmental and health industry people to be the opposite of grace and honor, I was pleasantly surprised at its overall message of what's possible when people understand that working together for the greater good benefits each of us as opposed to making a profit at the expense of someone else's health and well being.
All Michael Moore needed was a quote from Jesus or the Dalai Lama about the harm people do themselves when they act like said governmental officials and health industry murderers vrs. the benefit people bring to themselves and everyone else when we value life and the good that comes from that.
More power to you, MM. You certainly are a portal for light.

1. The end was very uplifting, the rest was depressing. |

that film. It surely makes you stop and think. The way O'Rilley tells it people in Canada have awful healthcare. No we have awful insurance companies!

You are correct, much less awful than I feared, and more uplifting. Clearly a movie that every single voter in this country should see. I hope that someday we get universal health coverage as it is portrayed in Sicko..in GB or France. OR Canada..What a film. I was also inspired by it, and hope that it gets the award this evening........Stuart G
